At Prime Eldercare, we are committed to maintaining a safe, ethical, and transparent care environment. We understand that speaking up about safeguarding concerns can feel daunting.
That’s why we have a strict no-retaliation policy for anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith.
What is Whistleblowing?
Whistleblowing is when an individual reports illegal, unethical, unsafe, or improper practices within an organization. This may include:
Mistreatment or neglect of a care recipient
Financial exploitation or fraud
Breach of safety standards
Harassment, discrimination, or unfair treatment
Failure to follow safeguarding protocols
Prime Eldercare fully supports carers and families who raise concerns. If you report an issue,
we will investigate it thoroughly and ensure that you are protected from any negative
consequences
How We Protect Whistleblowers
Confidentiality Guaranteed – Your identity will remain confidential unless you provide explicit consent to disclose it.
No Retaliation – Carers, families, or employees who report concerns in good faith will not face discrimination, job loss, or any other form of retaliation.
Anonymous Reporting Option – If preferred, concerns can be reported anonymously through our Whistleblower Reporting Form in the Customer and Carer Portals.
Legal Protection – Whistleblowers are protected under UK employment and safeguarding laws.
Any attempt to intimidate or retaliate against a whistleblower will result in serious action.
